installed in a cool store in Wanganui.
Drive-In racks are
designed for storing large quantities of similar pallets. These are stored
depth-wise, behind each other, on continuous pallet supporting rails. As a
result a high storage density is obtained, and thereby a high utilization of
floor space. These racks are used in places where space is expensive, such as
cold stores. A Drive-In rack consists, basically, of 4 components: frames,
supporting arms, pallet rails and bracing.
Key Benefits
- High Storage density
- Ideal for many pallets of the same dimensions
- Best used in situations where space is expensive
